Finlayson Island
Approximately 14km + of combined trail on both the North and South side of Finlayson Island.
The Island is acessible by vehicle only from the Town of Battleford and parking is available on the island. From the north, there is parking on the north end of the bridge at the bottom of Poundmaker Trail and the Island is accessible on foot.
The trails on Finlayson Island are well maintained and offer excellent family skiing and snow shoeing. Traffic can be high year-round, however wide trails make it easy. On the south of the Island skiers can skate ski plus there is one track. On the north of the Island track skiing only. (40 mins per lap)
North Shore Trail
In the winter, more than 25km of marked and groomed cross-country ski trails are offered. Track skiing only with one track in and out.
Holy Family
Holy Family School field offers a beginners level of cross country ski trails. Skate skiing, plus two tracks. Trails are approximately 1.3km in length.
Centennial Park
Centenial Park located behind the Civic Centre, has a variety of ski trails including skate skiing and 2 tracks. Trails are approximately 1.8km in length.
